No ordinary full bodied light alcoholic wine.
As part of a low glycemic (GI) program, consumption of fructose rather than glucose is preferred due to the lower reactivity this sugar provokes. The founder of this wine, Dr Kambouris, appreciates this fact and has developed a unique wine that is predominantly sweetened by residual fructose. This process also enhances the extraction of resveratrol (resveratrol enhanced wine) from the grape skins so that a wine with at least 30% less calories and alcohol can be realised.
